Recruiting & Retention Specialist
Location: Eagle, WI
Contract: 3+ Month Contract
Pay: 32-38/hr

This role is responsible for full-cycle recruiting across both field and non-field roles while also leading initiatives focused on employee engagement and retention. The ideal candidate is people-focused, results-driven, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, onboarding, and orientation
- Partner with leadership to understand workforce needs and develop effective hiring strategies
- Implement creative sourcing approaches to attract high-quality, culture-aligned candidates
- Maintain accurate data within the ATS while ensuring a positive candidate experience
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and equitable hiring practices
Retention & Engagement
- Design and execute initiatives that drive employee engagement and long-term retention
- Partner with managers to support onboarding success and employee satisfaction
- Promote recognition, communication, and engagement programs
- Collect feedback and analyze trends to support continuous improvement
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with ATS platforms and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Preferred Qualifications
- Recruiting experience within construction, industrial, or skilled trades environments
- Exposure to employee engagement or retention programs
- Working knowledge of HR best practices and employment law
