Essential Functions:
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE): safety glasses, ear protection, and safety footwear.
Maintain reliable and predictable attendance.
Stand for a full 8-hour shift.
Lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
Read and interpret blueprints.
Use a tape measure and perform basic shop math.
Perform MIG welding and cosmetic grinding.
Operate hoists and lift tables.
Use basic computer systems and shop controls.
Preferred Qualifications:
2–5 years of welding experience.
Above-average welding and grinding skills.
Familiarity with blueprint reading and welding testing.
Comfortable using grinders and other fabrication tools.
Training from institutions such as Missouri Welding Institute is a plus.
